Can mmWave detect acrylic transparent walls?

I would like to know what kind of materials the mmWave can not detect.

Hi,
Could some one please follow up the question.
A customer has requested the detection of acrylic transparent walls.
Is it treated as same as the glass detection?

Hello Hitoshi,

Yes that’s correct, acrylic is similar to glass in that depending on the radar settings it can either see through the material or detect the material.

Please see the experiments in TIREX for people counting through material and detection of different wall material as examples.
