I want to use the 3.3V and 5V (1 and 2 on J6) connectors in order to power an external microcontroller but when I probe them they both are 0V. Is there a pad somewhere on the board that needs a 0 ohm resistor? And yes I am getting power to the board because I measured 5V on P5.
