RTOS/IWR1443BOOST: Problems Flashing IWR1443Boost

Hello,

I want to Flash the IWR1443Boost, that i can debug with the CCS. The Board is ES3. I have tried to Flash with the SDK 2 and 3 but there is always the following error in uniflash:

[9.4.2019 12:44:21] [INFO] Cortex_R4_0: Header of C:/ti/mmwave_sdk_03_01_01_02/firmware/radarss/xwr12xx_xwr14xx_radarss_rprc.bin file indicates it is not a valid file to flash to IWR1443: 0x43525052

[9.4.2019 12:44:21] [ERROR] Cortex_R4_0: !!! Aborting flashing of specified files!!!

How can I solve this?

Hi Raphael,

Since you are using ES3.0 silicon you will need to use the SDK2.1, flashing instructions are available here: dev.ti.com/.../

Hi Akash,

as mentioned above, i tried it also with SDK2.1 and it doesn't work.
I also use a IWR1443 Es2 with SDK1.2. This worked. I flashed the ES3 like i did with the ES2 (i only changed the Images to the new version). Is flashing different if i use the ES3?

Hi Raphael,

Yes flashing is different for ES3.0, you don't need to flash the rprc. You don't need to flash the rprc for ES2.0 either, but I'd just recommend reading following the procedure in the lab manual I posted above.

Hi Akash,

thanks for your help.
Now I found the right User Guide, my Problem was that i still had Version 2.5 for the Industrial Toolbox, cause of the older board,
