PGA970: can i use two nos of 3 wire HBt lvdt to one pga970 chip

Can i use two diffrent lvdt with 3 wire connection to single PGA970 chip 

comman exitation frpm p1 and p2  and  S1P and S2p to respective lvdt ,

as well as can i use additional LVDT with multiflexed mode with help pf GPIO

    Hi Kundan,

    In order to get meaningful phase information so that you can determine the direction of travel of the LVDT sensor with respect to the center position, you will have to sense both secondary coils from the LVDT, one at S1 and one at S2.

    Because of this you cannot use the PGA970 to sense more than one LVDT at a time. It is possible to supply primary side excitation to more than one LVDT from the same PGA970, however.
