Hi !

I have some question of IWR1443Boost.

Can i communicate the IWR1443 on EVM Board with external XDS110 DEBUG PROBE?(TMDSEMU110-U)
Without i using the internal CPU on EVM board. If yes, how?

I was read the IWR description.Can i debug the IWR (1.4 Functional Block Diagram) with Uart?

Hi Richard,

Are you aware that the IWR1443BOOST has an integrated XDS110 for debugging over UART? This is the recommended method for debugging.

Would you mind explaining why you are trying to use external debugger?

Hi Akasha,

Yes, i aware. We are developed new HW for IWR1443.
I try test the IWR1443BOOST with external XDS110 Debugger when the manufacturer havent finish the HW.

How can i use the external XDS110 DEBUG Probe for flashing the IWR1443 on EVM board?

Hi Richard,

I'd recommend connecting your external XDS110 to the same points that are connected by the internal XDS110, you can follow the IWR1443BOOST schematic which is available here www.ti.com/.../sprr254

For further XDS110 support I'd recommend opening up a new ticket with part number listed as TMDSEMU110-U
