AWR1843BOOST: CAN Bus instruction needed

We are working on AWR1843BOOST application. Now, we followed the guide for switch settings and have completed connection of power and CAN-H/CAN-L, but we could read nothing and there are limited information about CAN in user guide, especially CAN message definitions(CAN ID, values, etc.). Besides, we want to use MATLAB/Simulink as processing tool for the radar. Are there any instructions how to make it works?

    Hi,

    We are not clear what application you are running on the AWR1843BOOST.

    In order to test the CAN output there are several options

    1) Use unit test provided in

    C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_03_01_00_02\packages\ti\drivers\canfd\test\xwr18xx

    2) Run the following lab binaries and check the CAN lines with a scope. Even if these binaries are built for AWR1642BOOST, they should also work for AWR1843BOOST

    mmwave_automotive_toolbox\labs\lab0005_object_data_over_can\odoc-target\pre-built-Binaries\AWR1642BOOST
