PGA460-Q1: PGA460 on a eval board?

Hi,

I've been experimenting with the TIDA-00151, and now I saw that the PGA460 seems to be a better choice, judging from the http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa730a/slaa730a.pdf

page 9, it also seems to have a more developed eval software, that I'd like to run on an arduino MEGA. Is there a similar package as the TIDA-00151 available, using the PGA460 and a transducer that I can test?

Akeem, you have seen my previous questions regarding the TIDA-00151 with the PGA450Q1EVM-S.

My application is similar to a robotic park assist application and assisted breaking on a rover type platform.

Johannes,

We are at the process of releasing a new EVM with small form factor with PGA460 device and this EVM should be able to help you with your application similar to a robotic park assist application.

This EVM should be available in market with the next few weeks.

Hi Johannes,

Otherthan TI's occasional new product newsletter ( https://news.ti.com/ ), there is no email subscription specific to the release of this TIDesign. We will need to ping you individually.

In the meanwhile, know that the TIDesign is based on the "PGA460 Mono-static Transducer Transformer Driver Ultra-Small Design File" ( www.ti.com/.../slac757 ) available on the PGA460. The primary difference is that the TIDesign will also include a header row for UART/USART/SPI communication in addition to the automotive LIN/TCI interface.
