Can you explain to me what is image stitching algorithm? and what you are trying to achieve with this image stitching algorithm?

Is it like you have multiple radar sensor facing different direction, and you are trying to fuse the output together?

no, I was trying to figure out if 3d image stitching could be done just using a mmwave.

You still did not explain what is "image"? What is 3D image stitching. What you are trying to achieve?

and if I have to connect a camera to the mmwave iwr1443 to stitch images of a geographical plane

the goal is to use the 3D point clouds of the mmwave collected and stitch it together in order to give a local reference in regards to the starting point of the robot I am using.

OK, you are trying to stitch 3D point cloud from different frames. So, if your sensor is not moving, then that is just easy. If your sensor is moving, then you need to know your current sensor location for each frame. Then you can stitch them together after location adjustment.

How to get to know your current sensor, you can buy IMU/GPS system. Or you can use ROS and mount the radar sensor on turtlebot. Like the autonomous Robotics demo we have shown in the link: dev.ti.com/.../node

My team and I are currently using the mmWave in combination with the TI RSLK and we are using the ROS and we mounted the mmWave on RsLK to generate the data point in different areas. Can we use the RSLK instead of a turtlebolt and how best can we stitch the 3d point cloud data generated from the mmWave?

Unfortunately, TI RSLK does not have a navigation system for now, it will not help to stitch the point cloud that captured with the moving platform.
