AWR1843BOOST: Will the millimetre waves transmitted by two located AWR1843BOOST boards (face-to-face position) interfere each other?

Hi,

My experiments need use multiple AWR1843BOOST to collect data at the same time.

I am wondering whether these boards will interfere each other (e.g., give wrong ranging results) if I put their antennas in a face-to-face way?

I would say basically the same config, with differences only lying in SNR and frame rates.

Hi,

Yes, it is likely that the boards will interfere with each other. You will need to time-stagger these measurements. One way to do this is to provide a hardware trigger to both boards, and program the FRAME_TRIGGER_DELAY to one of the devices such that there is no overlap.
