Linux/AWR1642BOOST: Tracking of objects detected with the ROS package

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

I'm using the ROS package provided for AWR1642BOOST. As it is returning the detected objects in the PoinCloud2 format.

I want to track these detected targets similar to the tracking done in the Short Range Radar MATLAB Package provided in mmwave_automotive_toolbox_2_4_7.

How can i implement the gtrack algorithm provided in the sdk.

Do i have to make the changes to the DSS file that goes on to the DSP?

  • Hi ,
SDK 3.1 provides the gtrack library and test application which you can refer for this. (ti\alg\gtrack\test)
gtrack algo can be implemented either on DSS or MSS, based on your application's timing and memory requirement.

    Regards,
