Dear Support Team ,
Would it be feasible to run a Lua shell ( in Windows) independent of mmWaveStudio and access IWR6843's - XDS comm port ?
I'm interested in the Raw Data Capture , ON DEMAND , through 6843EVM+DCA1000 's 1Gb interface.
Current workflow under the hood of mmWavestudio sets up the following :
step1 : setup
step2 : Establish 6843 => COMM links / ID the sensor etc . (Can be through Lua interface / shell too)
Step3 : Download the binary (rf, mss) (through Lua shell too)
Step4 : through lua scripts : cls/arl/rstd supported commands are executed to configure the RF / chirp/ frame / ,
setting up the DCA board parameters and enabling the ehternet itnerface for raw data capture.
Once started , the RAW data collection runs for ever and is a storage issue.
Can one perform steps 1 through 3 under mmWave studio and quit the tool.
Start a Lua shell and execute "step4" - start RAW data capture as needed and stop ....This could also help us to control the capture remotely.
Specifics to address are :
* Access to XDS port in an Independent LUA shell
* Starting /stopping the DCA1000 Ethernet interface and data transfer ...
Appreciate your feedback
thanks
