AWR1843: toolbox questions

Hello TI Team,

I have 3 questions about AWR1843.

1. Is there any toolbox for labs like lab0011-people count in IWR6843? or any tool that I can see the signal except mmWaveSensingEstimator?

2. What is the difference between AWR1843 and AWR1843boost?

3. What does the DCA1000EVM use for? Is it for analyzing FMCW signal like FFT?

    Hi,

    1. People counting is not available on AWR1843BOOST evm.

    2. AWR1843BOOST is an EVM that uses the AWR1843 silicon

    3. DCA1000EVM allows to capture raw data that can further be processed with the Matlab integrated in mmWave Studio or with custom Matlab scripts.

    Thanks for your response.

    I have another question about Q1.

     

    I mean is there any lab or tool for learning in AWR1843?

    For example, there are many labs in IWR6843 like water ground/vital signs/gesture identification.

    As far as I know, the website mmWaveSensingEstimator is only one tool for AWR1843 for observing the performance.

    For AWR1843 one can use:

    1) mmwave SDK 3.2 demo
    2) MRR demo in automotive toolbox
    3) Automated Parking in automotive toolbox
    4) mmWave Studio ( with DEVPACK or DCA1000 EVM)
