mmwave demo visualizer is unable to show the data . it is showing an error;

Hi Savanth,

Could you mention which SDK version i.e. the Out of Box demo is flashed on the IWR1642BOOST EVM?

my board is ES1.0 and i am using 1.2 sdk version and for that i have tried 1.6 ,2.0 ,2.2 toolboxes. but to run demo code i am still getting the same error in demo wave visualizer or i am getting error while rebuilding the dss file.

Hi Savanth,

Which version of the mmWaveDemoVisualizer are you using? Please note that the latest Visualizer (ver 3.2.0) is compatible with only SDK 3.2 but it includes a link to the old Visualizer for old SDK releases (2.1 LTS and earlier) at the bottom of the page, as shown below.

1. Please use this visualizer and select SDK 1.2.

2. Flash the pre-built binaries provided in SDK 1.2 (Download here: http://software-dl.ti.com/ra-processors/esd/MMWAVE-SDK/01_02_00_05/index_FDS.html) to rule out any issues with your own build.

3. It appears you are trying to run the demo in CCS debug mode. Please ensure that you have flashed xwr16xx_ccs_debug.bin prior to connecting with CCS and loading the demo code, as explained in the SDK user guide as well as the 16xx-demo lab user guide. Failing to do this will result in such unexplained errors.
