IWR6843: Vital Sign range

Hi,

I am trying to get the vital sign demo to work and detect breathing of a person 10m's away?

Would I require a lense to do this, or can this be configured in the chirp? 

Has TI done any testing outside of the online demo, to see if still works up to 10m's

    Hi Calum,

    We have not tested up to 10 m but this is unlikely to achieve good results, the field of view is simply too wide to accomplish this. A specific lens may be able to help with this but it will undoubtedly result in an altered reading as sensor is required to measure heartbeat palpitations on the order of micrometers.
