AWR1443BOOST: UniFlash issue

Hi Experts,

My customer is using AWR1443BOOST (ES3) and trying to flash following two binaries with UniFlash.

    \\...\mmwave_studio_02_00_00_02\rf_eval_firmware\masterss\xwr12xx_xwr14xx_masterss.bin
    \\...\mmwave_studio_02_00_00_02\rf_eval_firmware\radarss\xwr12xx_xwr14xx_radarss.bin

They are seeing following error.

What is the reason? Let us know how to resolve the issue.

The background of this issue is they want to avoid firmware download every time when they use mmWaveStudio.

    Hi Ken,
    With AWR1243 ES3.0 version you need to flash single xwr12xx_metaImage.bin file using Uniflash. This file is available under mmWave DFP installation (firmware directory).

    As mmWave Studio is meant to do the RF evaluation where firmware is loaded over RS232 so with that installation you see those relevant firmware files.
    But if someone wants to flash the binary (in ES3.0 that file is MetaImage which combines MasterSS and RadarSS in it) then they need to use MetaImage binary which is available in DFP package.

    Thank you. I have a quick qustion. They are using AWR1443. Is it okay to flash xwr12xx_metaImage.bin?

    Hi Ken,
    To use any demo application they need to build AWR1443 application from SDK and then flash that.
    But with mmWave Studio they can use this firmware (xwr12xx_metaImage.bin) to flash it to AWR1443.
