Hi team,

My customer is evaluating LDC2112. But they are not familiar on how to design the external structure. So do you have any training material on:

1. How to design the external inductor and metal part? For example, the thickness, material, touch area size?

2. How to avoid interference like anti-water?

Hi Kristin,

Thanks for your reply. The anti-water means when there's water on the surface of the touch area, will it mistakenly trigger the button? Do we have any solution to stop the button from water or other interference? Thanks.

Hello Wayne,

Water will not pose a problem for the LDC2114. It will not cause false button detections. The water is not conductive enough to register as a target.
