Hi Team,

as title describe, customer would like to know the I2C standard mode timing requirement.

because DS show OPT3002 support standard mode.

is the timing same w/ fast speed mode?

Hi Arking,

Standard mode is supported. If you are compliant with I2C standard spec it will work. Standard spec is slower than fast mode so that is the reason it is not laid out in the DS.

Hi Alex,

Customer would like to get the standard mode spec, because they afraid the signal ramp up edge cannot meet the spec.
Could you help to provide it?

Hi Arking,

I took a look at your request and found a spec sheet that should satisfy your request. The standard-mode timings are on page 48, table 10 of the I2C spec: www.nxp.com/.../UM10204.pdf
Make sure to pay attention to annotations 3 and 4. Please let me know if you have any more concerns.
