Dear team,

I recently decided to build a millimeter-wave radar for the AGV for obstacle detection.I chose AWR1443 as the chip, but I don't know how to make a radar with this chip. Do I need to write the algorithm of radar by myself?I want to use STM32 for development.I hope I can get your support.

Hi Li,
You can use obstacle detection from TI-Rex for xWR1443.

Hi Jitendra,
First of all, thank you very much for answering this question.Then I read some materials on the official website and got a message. Could an external MCU communicate with the radar sensor AWR1443 through SPI interface to control its work, set parameters and read radar data?

Hi Li,
You can use mmWave Studio to control all the functionality of the device over SPI.
You need to flash firmware\xwr12xx_metaImage.bin file to the device. Follow the mmWave Studio user guide for more info.
