AWR1243: Questions about Table 5-4 of AWR1243 datasheet

Hello Experts,

We have questions about Table 5-4 of swrs188a.pdf.

(1) Let us know how to calculate 16.66Msps.
(2) Let us know the chirp configuration (start freq, Frequency Slope, etc) of this condition for our reference.
(3) Is there any reason that the sampling rate is 16.66Msps? Tha maximum sampling rate is 18.75Msps for AWR1243. We want to use 18.75Msps if possible.

    Yes, as mentioned in the datasheet the maximum sampling rate is 18.75Msps for AWR1243. So you can use 18.75Msps

    The sampling rate is something the user configured in the profile configuration, its not computed.

    Parameters like start freq, slope etc. will not impact the power consumption. So you can set the values based on your requirement , the power numbers would be similar.

    For (1), how do you decide 16.66Msps?

    For (2), if the power consumption is measured value, then I want to know the chirp configuration you used during the measurements.

    The reason 16.66 msps was selected is because it provides close to 15Mhz IF bandwidth , which is the max bandwidth AWr1243 support.

    Regarding the configuration used at our end for this measurement, we use 77Ghz, start frequency, 512 samples per chirp, 16.66 Msps, slope 10Mhz/usec, idle time 5 usec, ADC start time 2.5 usec, ramp end time 34.3 usec. Number of chirps per frame is 512 chirps and frame periodicity is 40 msec.
