Hi,

we bought IWR1642Boost and design a prototype for people counting and heat map . it is accurate and track persons well. but main problem is to build antenna for IWR1642.

Can we use IWR6843AOP instead of IWR1642 in the future?
Is it in the term performance and measurement precision similar to IWR1642 ?
when is going to be available for purchase IWR6843AOP ?

Yes, this can be used when it is released

Both boards should have similar application performance, however the gain and antenna design is different, the IWR6843AOP also has 3 TX antennas unlike the IWR1642 with 2

the approximate release date is very important so we can plan for to build the device accordingly.

I don't think it will be available in coming weeks, it could take few months.
