IWR1443BOOST: Where to find the UART communication protocol?

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1443

Hello,

currently I'm lloking for the protocol which is used for communication with the IWR1443 by the demo Applications (e.g. Visualizer).
What I'd like to do is, decoupling the XDS110 debug probe and directly interacting with the IWR1443.

The idea is to use a MCU's serial interface (UART) instead of the COM-Ports provided by the XDS110 via USB.

Could someone point me to where I could find a documentation about the protocol used by the IWR1443, maybe evan an API I might look at?

Just asked the question, immediately found the answer. Hope this might help someone in the future, having the same problem / ideas.

The protocol used for communiction with IWR1443 via UART (IWR1443 Pins: N6 - RS232_TX / N7 - RS232_RX) is describet in the MMWAVE SDK User Guide.
