Hi,

I'm working on a project that I using a FDC2004EVM &/OR FDC2114EVM to do a non contact liquid level measurement task.  Can someone tell me has anyone successfully measured liquid capacitance change in a flexible type container (i.e like an oval shaped plastic bag). Is it possible to get consistent reading of capacitance from liquid filling a soft body container?

    Geo,

    There will likely be more variation in capacitance readings if using a flexible container, but it will depend on how repeatable the set-up is. It will be difficult for us to comment more without knowing more details about the application.

    If you are able, the fastest way to find your answer is to construct a quick prototype and run some tests. If this is a non-conductive liquid, then you might have the most success with the FDC1004 (since it has the SHIELD options).
