DCA1000EVM: Raw data capture from DCA1000EVM using C code

Hello,

I am trying to do raw IQ capturing from DCA1000 using the DLL's and rf_api.h header present in folder C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_00_00_02\mmWaveStudio\Clients\AR1xController. I am able to successfully compile the C code and execute it. There are 5 bin files created that has names,

adc_data_DCA_CP_0.bin
adc_data_DCA_CQ_0.bin
adc_data_DCA_DSP_0.bin
adc_data_DCA_R4F_0.bin
adc_data_DCA_Raw_0.bin

But these files does not contain any data. All files are 0KB in size. Please help.

Hi,

I did not see any related information in the mmwave studio user's guide.

We need to check with extended team if this use case is supported and will get back to you early next week.

Yes i am able to get data using mmWave studio, but my actual aim is to build my own custom application for streaming data from DCA1000EVM. Later i want to build my own GUI to displaying data.

Hi,

I purchased AWR1642BOOST board along with DCA1000EVM, I want to know what are the possible ways by which I can build my own application in PC and then capture data and do post processing. Are there any examples codes or scripts which I can use to build my application and get raw data without using any TI GUI.

DCA1000 support is limited to mmwave studio. You can take a look at the technical documents for the DCA1000 for more information on this board.
