Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV425
Hi,
Need a 1.5mT high sensitivity Hall Sensor, if the sensitivity is poor, the magnet is far away, can not hold
Thanks.

Hello user5707026,
Thanks for using the forum. We do not have hall sensors switches that can switch at low fields such as 1.5mT. We have linear hall devices with 100mV/mT or 200mV/mT which could be used with a comparator. If you would like to use this method please see this training video to understand key specification you may need to be aware of.
If you require higher accuracy the DRV425 is a flux gate sensor that can measure the magnetic field much more accurately. The DRV425 is more accurate but at a tradeoff of size and cost and limited range. Also the DRV425 measure magnetic field and does not compensate for magnetic field change from a magnet as the temperature changes. See video above for more explanation.
If you use the DRV425 you could setup the max field for the OR flag to trip at 1.5mT.
Please let me know which approach you would like to pursue and I could lead you to more information or get more specific.
