Customer's verifying the DRV5023 on the power tool application for industrial usage. The application is to design a bottom Switch with magnetic field and DRV5023. When we push the Switch bottom down(Switch ON state), the output behavior of the DRV5023 should be Low, In opposite it's Hi-Z impedance(When Switch OFF).
However, we found something wrong on this mechanical design with DRV5023 when doing Switch off-> on -> off.
When switch Off -> ON , the output of DRV5023 is changed from Hi-z to Low
Then, switch ON -> OFF, the output of the DRV5023 is kept Low. s mechanical design with DRV5023 when doing Switch off-> on -> off.
When switch Off -> ON , the output of DRV5023 is changed from Hi-z to Low
Then, switch ON -> OFF, the output of the DRV5023 is kept Low.
In mechanical design, when Switch ON, the distance between IC and Magnet field is about 0..45mm. and when Switch OFF, the distance between IC and Magnetic field is 3.35mm.
We're wondering to know how to improve it. or any suggestion with this designs? Very thanks.
