TDC7201: Can the STOP/START pins handle 5V TTL signals?

I would like to connect the TDC7201 to a pre-existing photon detector that outputs 5V TTL signals. VDD will be 3.3V on the TDC7201. Do I need to shift the voltage to 3.3V or will the TDC cope with 5V signals?

Toby,

The TDC7200 is a Time-to-Digital Converter and its input pins START & STOP can only handle voltage levels upto 3.6V.
