Hello,

I'd like to understand how does "tx_seq_reg" being set?

There is only an example found in datasheet, which is "register value: 2-1-0-2-1-0. The sequence will be 0-1-2-0-1-2"

But how is that being translated into 2Ah[14:3] ?

Hope i didn't ask a dumb question.

Hi Alex,

I'm afraid the question in this post is different from https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/p/811048/3002533#3002533.

I'm asking about the setting of TX_SEQ_REG rather than ILLUM_DAC_L_TX* (post above).

Need explanation on this sentence that i found from datasheet: "register value: 2-1-0-2-1-0. The sequence will be 0-1-2-0-1-2"

Hi Mike,

The register is 12 bits and every two bits refers to a tx channel in sequence for a total of 6. For example writing 2340 (decimal) is the example given that results in the sequence of tx channels being run through is the order 0-1-2-0-1-2
