Hi,

To implement the configuration in Figure 12 above, you would do the following:

1) Step 1 to 5 as in your figures above

2) In Step 7, change profile to Profile 1. Then Step 8.

3) In Step 9, change profile to Profile 1.

4) In Step 11, change End Chirp to 1.

Note that you should not do Step 6.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

Your relpy has solved some problems,however,I also have some problems about Separating the waveform signals from two transmitting antenna and configuring CDMA.

Firstly,I try to separate superimposed echo signal through Doppler FFT .I want to know if this method of signal processing is right?

Secondly,I want to know if CDMA configuration process is correct?

Hi Wang,

For the second part:

The CSV feature in the BPM chirp config tab (Step 4, 5, 6 in your figure above) is not working in this version; it will be fixed in a later version of mmWave Studio.

For now, you will need to program it using the "Start Index, End Index" and "TX Off, TX On" part of the tab explicitly and press the Set button.

I will get back to you on your first question regarding CDMA.

1、which mmwaveStudio version will surport "BPM chirp config tab" ?

2、does TI has some LUA script to set BPM chirp configration instead of pressing the Set button multiple times ?

Hi Simon,

1. This will very likely be included in the next release of mmWave Studio (2.1).

2. I'm afraid we do not currently have any reference scripts for configuring BPM, but you can easily create your own lua scripts to set the BPM configuration. One way is to copy the command from the Output window into a text editor and duplicate it as many times as you have different BPM configurations and modify the fields as needed.
