RTOS/AWR1843BOOST: How to use the 3 Tx Simultaneous operation

Part Number: AWR1843BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1843,

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi

The RF1 and FR2 power rails of the AWR1843 BOOST Board are known to be supplied at 1.3V.

And I know that 3 Tx will work concurrently in the lab0007_medium_range_radar app on the AWR1843 boost board.

The data sheet is shown below

: (1) 3 Tx Simultaneous operation is supported only in AWR1243P and AWR1843 with 1V LDO bypass and PA LDO disable mode. In this mode 1V supply needs to be fed on the VOUT PA pin.

if so, if I'm wrong,
I would appreciate your explanation of EVM situation and medium_range_radar app situation.

As mentioned in the datasheet, to use the 3Tx unconditionally, do you need to supply only 1.0V to the RF1 and FR2 power rails and use the 1V LDO bypass mode?

Regards

JP
