CCS/AWR1843: question about shadow link

in the mmr demo,i have some problem about the edma3 setting with hwa.

in the function named MmwDemo_config1D_EDMA_sf0() , calling the function EDMAutil_configHwaTranspose() and in this function , what on earth the EDMA_setup _shadow_link() to use and what is the shadow link?

i have been seen this edma3 training , but it didn't mention the shadow link,what else file can i find about the shadow link?

Terminology shadow is used for linked channels.

Hi Havi,

A shadow link is used to reload the channel configuration to the EDMA channel after the current transfer is complete. The parameters specified on the ParamSet are consumed by the EDMA channel during data transfer. By programming the same configuration in another ParamSet and specifying it in the Link Field of the Channel ParamSet, the channel is essentially prepared to repeat the same transfer after the current transfer completes. Note that the actual transfer still requires a trigger.
