Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

Our schematic as below

Could we preset use I2C to write a limitation value ( Hope is a fix value that always this value when every times power on)?

Like if temp over 60 degree then will send interrupt out, is it possible?

By the way, have others general popular temp sensor which include INT pin and could do our application?

Dear Shu-Cheng -

Yes, the HDC2010 has high and low threshold values to set for both humidity and temp (Registers 0x0A, 0x0B (temp), 0x0C and 0x0D (humidity). You would enable the interrupt pin and the function specifically, using bit 2 in register 0x0E and setting bit 6 in register 0x07 (for a high temp, for example).

We would like to confirm this again.

Every time the Sensor is powered on, I have to make a set action for the MCU?

Or do I have to set the first times, then every time when I reboot, the interrupt-related settings are fixed?

Dear Shu-Cheng,

The registers in the HDC2010 are volatile, which means they need to be re-written if desired/required by your application after each power cycle or reset.

The register map default/reset values are listed on page 17 of the datasheet http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/hdc2010.pdf
