OPT3101EVM: Height of board

Hi Team,

a customer wants to develop a housing for the OPT3101EVM and wants to know what the height of the board including the lenses is. Could you please provide this info?

Hi Mihir,

EVM does not have lenses but rather through hole PD/LED with integrated optics and the shielding ring. I assume they are asking for the height of the PCB plus shielding rings? The PCB also have standoffs that can be removed. I assume these would not be included in the height?

Hi Alex,

Yes, they are asking for the height of the PCB including integrated optics and shielding rings. The standoffs are not required.

Hi Mihir,

I checked an EVM with calipers and measured 11.25 mm from PCB bottom to the top of the ring. Also note the plastic added to the rings adds a couple mm.
