IWR1642BOOST: still getting the errror code with matlab runtime

Part Number: IWR1642BOOST

while conducting the examples TI provided on dev.ti.com

I encountered a issue with matlab runtime version.

For lab0007 medium range radar, I installed runtime 8.5.1ver and sitll get the message that I need to install it.

What seems to be problem??

Namho,

You might need to specify the MATLAB 8.5.1 runtime first in your "Path" environment variables. Please make sure you installed the 32-bit version of MATLAB runtime 8.5.1.

Can you explain a bit more about the "Path" things?

and Do I have to install 32-bit version while my computer is 64-bit one?

Namho,

Yes, you need to install MATLAB runtime v8.5.1 (32-bit) even if you have a 64-bit PC.

You can search Google to understand adding folder and editing folders to the Windows "Path" variable. Just search "How do I set or change the PATH system variable?"
