OPT3101: OPT3101 achieves 5m ranging

Hi Team,


Currently customer's new project needs to use TOF to measure distance. The specific requirements are as follows:
1) The measuring distance is greater than 3m, that is, 30cm~3m, and 5m is better;
2) In combination with the selection of infrared emission, it is required that no visible light is emitted during data transmission, which is invisible to the naked eye;
3) The measurement accuracy requires ±10%;
4) Power consumption is not mandatory;
5) With the selection of infrared emission tube and photodiode, the FOV of 60 degrees can be realized;
6) Can handle indoor and outdoor glare environments.

Customer wants to know:
1) What is the recommended solution based on the above design requirements?
2) What is the actual measurement distance range under actual outdoor glare?
3) The parameters that need to be paid attention to when selecting the peripheral red light emitting tube and photodiode of OPT3101;
4) Is there a recommended document?
