I'm planning to buy a AWR1243BOOST EVM for long range applications upto 300m.

I'm already using a AWR1843BOOST EVM.

Is AWR1243BOOST EVM process the data on-board similar to AWR1843BOOST EVM Or do i need to buy an additional Processor with it to make it work?

If so, please suggest the best suited processor for long range application.

Hi Rahul,

AWR1243 is RF only board where it needs to be configured by external Host processor over SPI interface. AWR1243 sends raw ADC data over CSI-2 interface which Host needs to capture and process. So compare to AWR1843, AWR1243 doesn't process the data on-board.

For AWR1243 we offer TDAxx processor to control and process the data with AWR device. TI provides Vision-SDK for TDAxx processor where for AWR1243 it has all the required code to first configure the AWR1243 device over SPI and then process the captured raw data over CSI-2.
