PGA411-Q1: supply configuration

Part Number: PGA411-Q1

Hi There,

I have a number of questions regarding the correct configurations of the pins to power this IC.

  1. Clarifying that the 400mA on the VCC pin was just an inrush transient during start up.  What is the nominal current into the VCC pin during normal operation?
  2. If using an external supply for VEXT, should VCCSW be left floating, tied to GND, or tied to VCC?
  3. If using an external supply for VEXT, should VSW be left floating or tied to GND?
  4. If using the internal clock only,  then should XIN and XOUT be tied to ground or left floating?

Many thanks,
Ross
