IWR6843 - People counting Demo - medium range (15-20mt)

Hi,

I have a (may be simple) request... is it possible to have a cfg file (TXT file) for a 15-20 mt range (it's really hard for me to go into chirp configuration, there is a lot of documentation online but not so clear... or , better, I'm not so skilled to extract a Config file...)

and for this kind of range should I work with indoor_false_det_68xx_lab or with PC_lab_xwr68xx firmware?

    Hi Alessandro,

    Range is explained in this document. See equation 1 from section 2.1.1 - you can see that range is inversely proportional to the slope, so lowering the slope will increase the range.

    Both labs you have mentioned work are similar - the difference is the IFDM lab has a high level classifier that can tell if a track is human or non-human. If you are not interested in the classifier, you should with with PC_lab_xwr68xx.
