I have a question regarding the coordinate geometry for this radar. I am trying to determine the e-plane and h-plane for this device. Swru508b says that the horizontal plane is when Phi = 0 degrees and elevation plane is when Phi = 90 degrees. Where is phi specified? I see documentation showing the coordinate geometry with the xy plane and theta but am unable to find documentation regarding the angle phi. From what I've read online about patch antenna, it seems that the e-plane is parallel to the feedline and perpendicular to the patch, which seem to indicate that the e-plane is on the yz plane.
I am still a beginner at this so help would be greatly appreciated. If I have overlooked some documentation, please kindly direct me to the appropriate location.
