Hi,

I am getting following exception on running mmwave studio 2.0.0.2

Please help.

Hi Srinivas,

Make sure you have installed correct Matlab runtime engine version which link is provided in mmWave Studio User Guide document.

Hi Jitendra,

We have installed the same. The installed version is MATLAB Runtime 8.5.1 (32-bit). I have also installed the 64 bit version as well just to check if it resolves the issue. But result is the same.

And moreover we are using Windows 10. Will that cause any issue? Do we have a different matlab runtime engine for windows 10?

Hi Srinivasan,

Do you have the DCA1000 connected to the PC? If so, could you confirm that the FTDI drivers are installed and show up as ports in device manager?

This error message is sometimes seen in mmWave Studio on new installations when the FTDI drivers are not installaed.

Hi Anand,

Thanks for the information.

It seems FTDI drivers installed are not the proper one's for DCA1000. DCA1000 remains as unrecognized USB device.

Do we have any specific FTDI drivers for DCA1000? When we try to update the drivers windows machine it notifies that best drivers are already installed.

Hi Srinivasan,

You can try to uninstall the existing drivers and reinstall the ones that are included in the mmWave Studio 2.0.0.2 installation.

Alternatively, it should be okay to just install the WHQL D2XX drivers obtained from the FTDI website:

Could you please post a screenshot here from device manager if this still does not work?
