TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: EVM Board obsoleted

Hello,

I've been working with the TDC1000-TDC7200EVM and I had some reasonable results, but I just realized that the board's obsoleted, thus I'd like to understand why that happened and what kind of problems the EVM has. I was designing a board with both TDC1000 and TDC7200, are they still suitable? Is there any other EVM recommended for level measurement with ultrasound? Last but not least, I need to download the GUI in other laptop, could you provide a link to download?

Lucas,

We have at this time obsoleted only the EVMs and not the devices. The device TDC1000 & TDC7200 is all suitable for new designs.

We recommend the devices TDC1000 & TDC7200 for distance measurement, liquid levels & concentration sensing applications to mention a few.

In case you already have used the GUI in a previous laptop, you should be able to copy that on to the newer laptop and use it.

In case you are having trouble with that please add me a friend in this forum and I will send a link to download it.

Lucas,

The board as such has no issues, however the board was marketed for liquid flow level testing and this device TDC1000 is not very accurate for flow metering and hence we removed the EVMS from the web sales.
