AWR1243BOOST: Using Multiple AWR1243BOOST Devices on a single prrocessor

I want to use at-least 4 AWR1243BOOST EVMs simultaneously (1 for Long range(upto 300 m), 1 for Mid Range(80-150 m ), 1 for short range(10-80 m) and 1 for ultra short range(<10 m).

As the AWR1243BOOST doesn't have an on-board DSP as well as Microcontroller, which will the best suited processor for it?

Can i use TDA2x or TDA3x to interface all the four AR1243BOOST devices simultaneously?

If there a reference design or implementation of using multiple radar please share.

Is there any approach for using multiple radars EVMs simultaneously?

Hi Rahul,

I hope for the specified use case, you don't need to have synchronization between these four AWR devices. So you can use multiple AWR1243BOOST with TDA2/3x processor.

TDA RADAR SDK provides a usecase application for AWR1243 implementation which you can refer.

For MRR, SRR, USRR usecase you can use AWR1843 (MRR), AWR1642 (SRR) and connect to TDA over CAN/CAN-FD. In this case, TDA needs to do the RAW ADC Processing only for single AWR1243 and for other usecase it is offloaded to AWR1642/1843 device. These two devices will do the processing on inbuild DSP and send object result over CAN to TDA where it can do a high level of processing/decision making.

Thanks for the above info. As i just need the processor for the AWR1243BOOST for the long range applications, is there cheaper solution other than TDA2x and TDA3x made available by TI ?
