AWR1843BOOST: Configure the IP address of virtual machine with DCA1000EVM

Hi,

I am trying to run the DCA1000 and AWR1843 EVM under a windows10 virtual machine system (VMware workstation). I set the IP address to 192.168.33.30 in virtual machine according to the DCA1000 Quick Guide. However, it doesn't work when I try to connect the ethernet. The mmwave studio shows error 'Ethernet cable is disconnected, please check'. That is pretty weird, because I can succeed connecting ethernet and capturing data with the same board but in the host system.

Do you have any idea of configuring DCA1000 and IP address in virtual machine system?

It is recommended to connect your DCA1000EVM and AWR1843BOOST EVM directly to your Windows PC and to not go through a virtual machine. There has not been testing done related to this setup using a virtual machine.
