mmWave team,
Can you provide a software project example for the IWR1642 that can be used for static object detection? Very approximately, this is for 1 m to 15 m applications.
Thanks,
Darren

Hello Darren,
I would recommend that all evaluation of mmWave first start with the mmWave SDK out of box demo. By default, the point cloud returns static and not static objects. The user can enable static clutter removal so that the demo only return non-static objects. To only view static objects, the user can disable static clutter removal and then set filters to (cfarFovCfg command) to filter out non-static objects.
Using the SDK demo and online visualizer the chirp configuration can be designed for the specified range.
Note also that if they enable the range-azmiuth heatmap this is a heatmap of the 0 dopper bin only (static scene).
