Part Number: DCA1000EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1443, UNIFLASH, AWR1642

I bought a DCA1000EVM to capture the data of IWR1443,but I find the etnernet cable is physically disconnected.and when I try to run the data capture demo on the mmWave  Studio it will show disconnected. The indicator of the Ethernet port is off.

  • Hi User,

Please check the device manager to see if the device is connected through ethernet.  Follow the steps in the link below.

    My PC shows like that:

  • Hello,

Please send a screenshot of the 'Set up DCA1000' popup from mmWave Studio.

    -Chloe

  • I am sorry I do not reply timely. When I try to set up DCA1000 in the mmWave Stduio, the result like the pictures below:

  • Hello,

Which EVM are you trying to connect to?  Please erase the flash using uniflash and try again.

    -Chloe

  • I try to connect to the AWR1642 EVM and IWR1443,and capture the data then send to the PC through the Ethernet cable. I bought another DCA1000 EVM. Another DCA1000 EVM can work successfully. So I think this DCA1000 EVM which physically disconnected with PC has something wrong. I bought this DCA1000 EVM from mouser,China. Can I ask them replace this EVM?

  • Hi Qin,

You will need to discuss this with Mouser- E2E forums are for technical support.
