HDC1080: How can I use it in waterproof certified

Dear TI experts~

There is a question about HDC1080. HDC1080 is used in our heart rate watches. The product needs to have a certain level of waterproof. Does HDC1080 have waterproof certification? Or if the watch needs to be waterproof certified, what settings or protections need for HDC1080 or the PCB?

The HDC1080 is not waterproof. It has open cavity to allow for the air flow. The design would need to have a filter built into the window or case openings.

I am not sure what your mechanical design looks like, but that would be the thing to do here.

The rating I would think that would apply for this kind of requirement in a product would be up to IP67 or IP68.
