Hi,

Is it possible for TDC7200 to skip the first start pulse in taking measurements? Actually in my application there are two pulses on the start pin with 20us delay and stop pulse comes after 2nd pulse of start pin. My hardware setting is as per TDC7200EVM board.

I am using TDC7200EVM GUI in mode1 for time measurements.Please let me know how can i use TDC7200EVM GUI for this task. If it is not possible with GUI than what settings should i do in writing my code. In the attached figure, blue curve is my start pulse and pink is stop pulse. Thanks

Asif,

The TDC7200 is design to count the time between a single START signal and multiple STOP signals.

The GUI & TDC7200EVM cannot be modified to use only the second STOP signal.

However the INTB pins needs to be High while the device is making a measurement and is pulled low post completion of measurement.

Please try to keep the INTB pin low until the completion of the first START which you would like to skip. Then the device will only pick the second START pulse.
