PGA300: Error 5000

Part Number: PGA300

Hi Team,

It has been normal for customers to use PGA300 before. But today there is an error as shown below. Customers power off, restart and reconnect has been tried many times, which cannot be solved. What may be the reason?

Error 5000 occurred at Notifier Timed Out

Device GUI....This error code is undefined.....

Amy

  • Hi Amy,

Have the jumper settings on the EVM been changed at any point between when the GUI was communicating, and now when it is not? What is the voltage being used to power the EVM? Is the customer trying to communicate with a PGA300 device inserted in the socket, or are they using the EVM for its OWI circuitry to communicate with an external PGA300 board?

Assuming the jumpers are correct, as a first step I suggest reinstalling the Labview runtime engine.

    Regards,

  • Scott,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Customer still have problems after reinstalling the labview. The voltage supplied to the EVM is 10V.

Customers are using oscilloscopes to measure OUT pin waveform when they find that it can not work, before it was normal work.

The problem now is that the EVM board OWI Activation has been failing.

    Regards,

    Amy

  • Hi Amy,

Can the customer provide any OWI scope captures? I would like to see the OWI signal at pin 5, as well as the OWI_TX signal when they are attempting to activate OWI.

What baud rate are they using, and have they adjusted any of the OWI configuration settings?

    Regards,
