IWR1642BOOST: question for IWR1642BOOST experiment

Part Number: IWR1642BOOST

Hi Team,

Customer would like to know
1. What is the range of the Static Box in the Traffic Monitoring experiment?

2. Whether the target distance and speed measured in the Short Range Radar experiment can be displayed by specific values? Currently, the measured target can only be approximated by the position on the image.

3. Is there any experiment that shows the specific value of the target distance and speed?

Thanks.

    Hi Team,

    Customer would like to know
    1. What is the range of the Static Box in the Traffic Monitoring experiment?

Annie this information is provided in the TI Design and is as shown in the experiment. The static box was set to span 15-50m along the Y axis from the sensor. The location of the static box is configurable if the user chooses to modify the CFG file.

    2. Whether the target distance and speed measured in the Short Range Radar experiment can be displayed by specific values? Currently, the measured target can only be approximated by the position on the image.

The source code for the GUI is provided the user can modify the GUI to display this information if needed.

    3. Is there any experiment that shows the specific value of the target distance and speed?

The range-doppler plot can be used to view detected objects in speed. This is shown in the out of box demo and the SRR demo. The user can select the data points to view the range, doppler values. However printing these values out on the GUI is not currently done in either demo.

    Thanks.
