Hi~


I have trouble to test Tx Power under CW mode condition in the mmwave studio.

The device connection is ok and chirp parameter setting in Sensorconfig tab is no problem.

But only enable(2) button in Contstream tab is not working at all.

I have attached the log data, please let me know how to resolve it.

  • Hello Jeonghoon,

    You cannot enable a continuous stream after you have configured a chirp. You need to restart mmWave Studio and do a continuous stream only. 

    Also, CW capture with DCA1000 does not work entirely properly. You may be able to do a few captures successfully, but eventually you will see an out of memory error and need to restart mmWave Studio. The out of memory error will occur faster with a larger number of samples per capture.

    But only Tx enable button is not changed to the disable mode.(disable mode means tx is enable).


    Is there any other check point of setting & sequcence? Jumper setting and Dip switch is normal like user's guide.

    Can you clarify?

    There should be no difference in jumper settings, etc, between using a normal chirp and a continuous stream.

    Can you post your log file?

    I meant to explain the button text wasn't changed. (It's not working at all.)


    If It's normal, Enable button text is changed to disable.


    The jumper setting and Dip switch is the same as you guide to me.

    You need to enable the LDO bypass when using this board with mmWave Studio.

    The internal LDO is probably failing to regulate which is causing the error.
