After I power pga300evm-034, I cannot directly enter OWI mode via the "Activate OWI" button in the upper left corner of the software.OWI activation is only possible with a "Guided Calibration".However, during activation, I need to select the configuration file firstly.


Therefore, I cannot verify whether the EEPROM saved the configuration before power down.Why can't I activate the OWI mode directly from the "Activate OWI" button?Is this normal?

    Hello,

    Before attempting to communicate through OWI for the first time after powering on the EVM, you will need to click on the "Configure OWI" and "Configure POT" buttons to set the OWI baud rate and the loop resistance and additional voltage values. 

    Please also make sure that your jumper settings are properly configured for OWI communication on the EVM. You can refer to the jumper setting tables in the User's Guide here: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sldu011b/sldu011b.pdf
